Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa

A points-tested five-year provisional visa for skilled professionals and their families, granted through nomination by an Australian state or territory or sponsorship by an eligible relative in a designated regional area. It enables holders to live, work, and study in regional Australia, with access to essential services, and provides a pathway to permanent residency through the Subclass 191 visa after meeting work and residence requirements.
