Mr. Aftab Adamjee
Is a distinguished member of the illustrious Adamjee family of Pakistan — a name synonymous with trust, leadership, and innovation in the Indian subcontinent’s business community for over a century.
With an impressive track record in both corporate leadership and social impact, Mr. Adamjee has served on the boards of multiple companies and spearheaded major renewable energy initiatives. He was the founding Chairman of Tricom Solar Power (Pvt) Ltd and Tricom Wind Power (Pvt) Ltd, each boasting a capacity of 50 MW. Both projects, located in Jhimpir, Pakistan, represent a combined investment of approximately USD $105 million, with Tricom Wind Power (Pvt) Ltd financed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Washington, D.C.
Beyond business, Mr. Adamjee is deeply committed to philanthropy and community development. He is a member and benefactor of the Foundation for the Museum of Modern Arts in Karachi and has sponsored the establishment of state-of-the-art Radiology and Dental Departments at the Marie Adelaide Leprosy Hospital. His contributions also include a Mathematics Laboratory at Habib University, Karachi.
